I hope the suit is not telling him how to do basic first aid. That is the last thing you want to learn in the moment. You are operating on flight or fight in a situation like this. He would be going on muscle memory and ingrained repitition. I sign my family up for first aid classes each year for this very reason. Thinking does not work in emergency. Especially if you are a deep thinker normally.
Panic is not a bad thing. It's your body searching your subconscious for the right patterns to follow. You are not in your conscious brain at all.
When your brain finds it, it goes into automatic operation and your thinking brain is just a bystander recording the event for your later rumination recall.
